Merle discovered BellySisters in the summer of 2023 and immediately thought: This amazing concept needs to come to Switzerland! Though her parents are Dutch, Merle has lived in Switzerland her whole life. Just a few months after we met, she traveled to the Netherlands for training. In January 2024, she proudly opened her own studio in Bern. It was a brand-new concept for Switzerland, but it quickly won hearts. Today, Merle welcomes many moms to her studio every week.

Dutch natives Bibi and Marlies moved to Denmark with their partners eight years ago. They met during their pregnancies and quickly became close friends.
In spring 2023, they decided to take the leap together and opened their own BellySisters studio in Copenhagen that May. It was an instant hit — the concept quickly gained popularity in Denmark.
Since then, they’ve created pregnancy sculptures for over 350 wonderful women. And they’re just getting started: a bigger studio is on the way to welcome even more moms-to-be.
